Hey! So I’ve spent some time playing with my style and trying all sorts of new things. I’ve busted out my India Ink (Speed Ball brand) and my inking nibs. I love the feel of the non scraping the paper and catching on the fibers as I Ink.
It is with much jubilation and just a touch of exhaustion I am so excited to let everyone know of long term project that has finally been realized!
I’ve been working closely with Clan Destine Press and together we have created The Journal of Infinite Possibility, the first, last and only journal you will need to inspire those stories, drawings and everything else! It’s designed to help get the creative juices flowing and helping you move past that ever so irritating block.
We’ve got a fantastic giveaway going on right now too so enter for your chance to win this fabulous book!
Some of the images we’ve used are here to further entice you and tip your hand into grabbing a copy 😉
All three are for a big project I’m working on that will combine a large number of my drawings on their black and white glory and will be something to definitely keep your eye out for! It’s coming soon! 😉 (I hope…)
For some reason I’m really loving the Pisces fish from my zodiacs, it’s fun to make them curl and swirl around one another, the pair work well and everything flows nicely 🙂 this was a Valentine’s Day picture I never got out in time as I finished it just earlier today -_-‘
Very very late…. Yeah it’s hard to stay on top of public holidays and celebrations when you work most of them. Better late then never?
I’m still here and still active I promise however I’ve had a lot of work happening with my actual job and some side stuff I’ve picked up so personal work has had to go on hold for a while but I have tons of ideas ready to draw! Very excited to start when I can!
Also I’m so excited for my lovely new A3 drawing book! Finally some big detailed work will hopefully be coming soon!
The first is a black and white tribal ish style beagle. The other is flowers (can’t remember the type) in a multitude of colours. Both were fun to draw and again a very limited amount of information, but fun none the less. It’s a hard balance to find; enough information but not too much. Too much feedback and mind changing can be hard to work with but too little results in me redrawing something several dozen times because it wasn’t what they were after. Anyway, rambling again. Ramble ramble
