So I’ve been working hard and even got a swanky new printer (I needed one anyway so it just worked out well) but I now have a way of creating Prints of my art! Yeee! I’ve been creating some watercolour pictures, with a theme of elegant skulls, where they’re animal skull masks. Animals have some crazy looking skulls! I think Ram and Bull skulls are my personal favourites but the Bird I did looks pretty 🙂
I’ll have the prints available for sale too if I ever get to a market. I’m checking out Sunbury Village Market this Saturday so fingers crossed its the right environment I’m after!
Here are the few I’ve done so far, let me know what you think!
A mutated moth with a skull here for you.
Collusion is a cool word, synonymous with Symbiotic, another personal favourite word of mine. Do you guys have a favourite word? What’s it mean? Do you use it whenever you can or save it for special occasions to show off a bit? 🙂
I did a piece just the other week that had this theme. It was a 50s pin up girl but she had a skull face and bone poking out of her arm and leg and things. It’s a really interesting theme and one I’m very keen to explore further. This is a first (read second) attempt to explore this subject. She’s half flesh, half bone. Part of her has been stripped back to reveal the her within both literally and figuratively. It shows that under the skin we’re all the same.
